TEAL Mobility brings Hydrogen Pump Price to €9.95/kg across its Benelux Network

Hydrogen available at €9.95/kg (incl. VAT) across 9 stations in the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg, bringing hydrogen into the single-digit range across the Benelux network. Professional customers using the TEAL Mobility Card might reach prices below €6.5/kg (excl. VAT) depending on yearly volume offtake.

TEAL Mobility, a joint venture between TotalEnergies and Air Liquide, today announced a major reduction in hydrogen prices across its Benelux network. Starting 1st October 2026, hydrogen will be available at a uniform public pump price of €9.95 per kilogram (incl. VAT) at nine stations located in the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg, bringing hydrogen into the single-digit range across the entire Benelux network.

The new pricing applies to TEAL Mobility stations in Deventer, Utrecht, Roosendaal, Rhoon, Capelle aan den IJssel, Veldhoven, Delfzijl, Zaventem and Bettembourg.

The new pricing is supported by improved sourcing conditions under new supply agreements. TEAL Mobility procures hydrogen through competitive tenders, with growing emphasis on green hydrogen (RFNBO-compliant).

Supporting fleet decarbonization

The reduction is designed to improve the competitiveness of hydrogen-powered transport and support fleet operators in accelerating their transition to zero-emission mobility. Lower hydrogen prices contribute to:

  • Improved operating economics for hydrogen vehicles;
  • Increased competitiveness compared with conventional fuels;
  • Faster deployment of hydrogen-powered trucks, buses and commercial vehicles.

A strong signal for the hydrogen mobility market

Hydrogen mobility is entering a new phase of development. As vehicle availability increases and refueling infrastructure expands, reducing the cost of hydrogen remains a key lever for accelerating market adoption.

Nicolas Garnier, CEO of TEAL Mobility, said: "Bringing hydrogen pump price below €10 per kilogram is more than a symbolic milestone. It sends a strong signal to transport operators that hydrogen is becoming an increasingly competitive solution for decarbonizing heavy-duty transport. At TEAL Mobility, we remain committed to supporting the growth of hydrogen mobility through competitive pricing, reliable infrastructure and strong partnerships across the value chain."

Continued commitment to hydrogen mobility

With 16 hydrogen refueling stations across France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg and Germany, TEAL Mobility operates the largest pan-European hydrogen refueling network targeting trucks and commercial vehicles. The company continues to expand its footprint selectively with new developments focusing on major European transport corridors and strategic logistics hubs.

The company collaborates with vehicle manufacturers, hydrogen suppliers, transport companies and industry partners to accelerate the deployment of hydrogen-powered mobility solutions across Europe. This includes participation in subsidy programs such as the multi-annual SWiM program in the Netherlands and this year’s federal funding program coordinated by NOW GmbH in Germany. By supporting both hydrogen infrastructure and vehicle deployment, these programs help accelerate the market uptake of hydrogen-powered trucks.

This approach is also reflected in the announcement made at IAA Transportation in Hanover in September 2026, where Daimler Truck, Volvo Group, Toyota Motor Corporation, Bosch, Air Liquide, TotalEnergies, TEAL Mobility and other industry partners presented a joint initiative to build the full ecosystem required to scale hydrogen trucking in Europe. The initiative brings together vehicle availability, hydrogen supply, refueling infrastructure and supportive policy frameworks, with the objective of enabling hydrogen-powered fleets to operate at a competitive total cost of ownership. This price reduction reflects TEAL Mobility's long-term commitment to making hydrogen mobility economically viable and accessible for transport operators throughout Europe.
