We are TEAL Mobility
At TEAL Mobility we share the conviction that hydrogen is a formidable energy vector to meet the challenges of road transport and an essential element in achieving carbon neutrality rapidly.
We are convinced that the transport sector has a key role to play in the energy transition. And hydrogen represents one of the main alternatives to conventional fossil fuels. Running FCEV cars, buses, trucks while emitting only water vapor: nothing is impossible for the smallest of atoms, which is also the most abundant element in the universe.
We invest, construct, and operate stations to distribute hydrogen to customers in Europe. Our goal is to deploy more than 100 hydrogen stations for heavy duty vehicles on major European road corridors over the next 10 years.
Our ambition:
- To build and operate a European retail network of hydrogen stations
- To make hydrogen mobility affordable by decreasing rapidly the cost of hydrogen
- To increase rapidly the share of renewable hydrogen
- To become the reference player for our customers in heavy-duty hydrogen refueling solutions
Our stations network
TEAL Mobility will be operating around 20 stations in France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxemburg and Germany by end-2024.
These stations, under the TotalEnergies brand, will be located on major European corridors (TEN-T).
Our company name
Teal is mixture of green and blue colors which are the most sought-after colors of hydrogen! It originates from the bird of the same name which is a migratory European bird. Compelling symbols for a network of hydrogen stations which are also highlighted by our logo which points towards corridors.
Our commercial brand
TEAL Mobility operates its hydrogen service stations network under the TotalEnergies brand. TEAL Mobility uses TotalEnergies trademarks under a licence.

Our origins
In January 2024, Air Liquide and TotalEnergies have made it official the creation of TEAL Mobility, an equally owned joint venture to develop a network of hydrogen stations, geared towards heavy duty vehicles on major European road corridors.
The two parent companies combine their know-how and expertise in infrastructure, hydrogen distribution and mobility:
- Air Liquide contributes with its expertise in technologies and its mastery of the entire hydrogen value chain
- TotalEnergies brings its expertise in the operation and management of stations networks and the distribution of energies to BtoB customers
